A very fine Directoire mahogany table regulator displaying both mean and decimal time and the Gregorian and full Revolutionary Calendars,
Paris, date circa 1800.

The gilt hands show mean time minutes, hours and the Gregorian annual calendar; there is a delicate center sweep blued steel hand and the other three blued steel hands give decimal time and the Revolutionary calendar. The Solstices and Equinoxes are also marked on the dial.
