A very fine Swiss grande sonnerie pendule d'officiers, Robert & Courvoisier, circa 1800 with 4-inch enamel dial signed Robert et Courvoisier, verge and balance escapement, grande sonnerie striking on two bell, pull wound alarm, the cadrature mounted on the backplate,strike selection lever in the base, rectangular case with concave-sided top and serpent carrying handle, foliate mounts and turned feet
