A very rare early 19th Century Swiss gilt bronze planetarium clock, made by the eminent Swiss clock maker François Ducommun,
Switzerland, date circa 1810.
The rotating year calendar decorated with beautiful coloured enamel plaques depicting the signs of zodiac, by Dubuisson. 8 day duration silk thread suspension with anchor escapement, bell striking half and full hours out side count wheel. This clock was accompanied with the original hand written documents by François Ducommun on the functions and setting of the rotating planetarium.
