A fine engraved gilt-brass giant striking carriage clock by John Barwise, with the original travelling box. The lovely case is entirely embellished with the finest folaite engraving and the dial mask is by the same hand. The white enamel dial is unblemished and the movement is of the finest English quality with maintaining power and underslung lever platform. The travelling case is a rare survival.
