"La Dame au coffret" (The Lady with the jewel box). The model is a Polish artist, there are two portraits with the same title, one with the jewel box in the hand,  and the other is this portrait, even if you do not see the jewel box, the title is the same.

Professor at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. - 1920. First professor, head of the women's workshop created at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts.
- Member of the Jury of the Universal Expositions of 1889 and 1900.
- Member of the Committee and Jury of the Société des Artistes français.
- Knight in the Order of the Crown of Sweden.
- Commander of the Legion of Honour.

Elected, on July 26, 1902, as a full member of the Academy of Fine Arts (painting section), in the chair of Benjamin Constant. President for 1918, resigned in April.
