Turned columns Turnes columns extending with turned finials, hinged door engraved with passion flowers, mahogany bracket.
Revolving gilt brass with 24 silver movable rectangular hour plaques, set in circular aperture of the brass dial plate engraved with stylized foliage, small blued steel alarm setting hand, two apertures for Japanese calendar indications of Junishi to the left and Jukkan to the right. Elaborate stationary single blued steel pointer.
Double-tier, gilt brass, skeletonised frame, verge escapement, two-arm brass balance with adjusting weights sliding in the arms, blued steel flat balance spring, verge suspended by silk, count plate on the back, striking and alarming on a bell at the top.
